Keto Snacks

Our keto snacks are raw, vegan, gluten-free, grain-free, and paleo.

To preserve their nutritional values we don't subject our ingredients to heat-treatment or any other form of denaturing. We simply mix them together.

We have no need for artificial flavoring. Our products boast peerless taste and mouthfeel because we spare no effort in sourcing the very best ingredients, leaving their excellent natural flavors to do their own job.

We sweeten our keto snacks with allulose* and a little bit of dates. With healthy glycemic loads they satiate cravings and nourish the gut biome.

In crafting our keto snacks we avoided refined sugar, honey, coconut nectar, maple syrup, and any other substance that may spike blood glucose. As a result, multiple diabetics and pre-diabetics who tried our keto snacks notified us that they did not feel any impact on their blood sugar, nor did their continuous glucose monitors register any rises.

We source the highest-quality cocoa paste, from Peru. Part of the quality is the flavor, mouthfeel and aroma. The other part is the paucity of heavy metals. Our cocoa paste is particularly low in those. Each batch is lab-tested for heavy metals and other impurities, and we receive a certificate of analysis (COA) to that effect with each delivery. We do not Dutch-process or denature our cocoa paste in any way, so its flavanols and other nutrients remain intact and bioavailable.

In demos and at farmers markets, customers’ reactions have ranged from “Whoa, that’s pretty good” to “Oh my God, this is out of this world.” You can find numerous customers' testimonials on our homepage, and on Instagram, @plantrawfoods.

*Allulose is the cleanest, most nutritious polyol we could find. It is a naturally-occurring, low-calorie sugar that is found in plants in very small amounts.

It is a monosaccharide (a single molecule of sugar), for which humans don't have an enzyme to break it down. Since it is not digested, it does not raise blood glucose and insulin.

About 20-30% of it passes through the large intestines, where our gut bacteria ferment it, producing short-chain fatty acids and gas. Because of this bacterial fiesta, excess consumption of allulose may cause laxative effects.
