We source the highest-quality cocoa paste from Peru. Part of the quality is the flavor, mouthfeel and aroma, but the other part is the paucity of heavy metal. Our cocoa paste is particularly low in these metals. Each batch is lab-tested for heavy metals and other impurities, and we receive a certificate of analysis (COA) attesting to that with each delivery.

Chocolith® is a natural, chocolate alternative. Raw, unprocessed, with no added sugar, it is sweetened with whole, organic, fiber-rich dates, which buffer blood glucose and nourish the gut biome. 

It is mixed with the highest quality Peruvian cocoa paste (100% chocolate) that has not been denature, so its flavanols and other nutrients are intact and bioavailable.

A Note Regarding Sugars

We chose to use whole organic dates as our sweetener because they are a fruit that comes with fiber, vitamins, minerals and other healthy micronutrients.

As a result of their natural fiber content, dates don't cause the kind of sugar spike that comes with refined sugar, honey, date syrup (silan), maple syrup, and other such derivatives.

Like fruits, our products are merely nutritious snacks--filling natural treats that satiate occasional cravings. We created them to substitute for harmful refined carbs. They are not meant to serve as meal replacements.
